Hello! I have a Proxima Ultralight LS1, which I absolutely *adore*. My only problem with it is that we have it mounted way up high in the room, so it is extremely difficult to reach the projector to change the zoom or focus settings. I do not have the original remote for it, and the only times I have seen it listed for sale at a store, it has been exorbitantly expensive. Does anyone know of remotes for other projectors that would be compatible with the LS1? I have tried a christie remote that was supposed to be compatible with most proximas, but no luck. Many remotes I have tried *will* work to turn the power off and on, bring up the menus, mute the projector, change the input from video to computer and back, and change the volume settings of the projector. Thus far, however, I have NOT found any remotes that control either the focus or the zoom. I just bought a remote from ebay which was supposed to be an original ls1 remote, but turned out to be an LS2 remote. Like all the others, it worked for everything BUT focus and zoom. (Don't worry, the person who sold it to me is having me send it back to him and is refunding my money) I have a Harmony Remote, so I don't necessarily need the *actual* remote for a compatible model. It may simply be a matter of finding out specific projector models where its remote will work with my projector. Does anyone have any advice? This has been driving me crazy for many, many months - *anything* anyone could contribute would be very, very welcome. Thanks!!!
