Ok Im using a Dell 1209S for powerpoint. It works great until I have a slide that contains a video. The screen goes to white and says Auto adjust in progress, then Searching for input. Then the video starts a few seconds later. Not very professional. Any help to fix this.
DH won a Dell 1209S projector at work and now we are wondering what to do with it. We have a finished basement that is now a giant playroom but could be converted to a movie/gaming room. Ceilings are 8' high and the distance from where we would setup the projector to the wall is about 10'. We currently have a 32" CRT in the living room so this is all really new to us. I have a few questions:
1. Could we use this projectot to set up a basic home theatre?
2. What other equipment would we need? I'm guessing some decent cables are required, but what else?
3. Can we have cable/DVD/Wii set up simultaneously?
4. Would it be better to hang it from the ceiling or have it on a table top?
Any suggestions are appreciated.
