The old projector that we have had in our sanctuary for the past 12 years finally gave out on us. So we are currently shopping for a new projector. We will be mounting the projector on the ceiling and projecting a distance of 17.5 feet onto a screen that has 122" diagonal. We need a motorized lens for remote focus and zoom. We would also like to have wired/wireless video and control capabilities on the projector. We are looking at the Sanyo PLC-XT21. We are unsure if the standard lens is correct for our setup. Also we could not tell for sure if this projector will allow us to send the video/presentation in a wired or wireless mode. This projector is 4000 lumens with 1000:1 contrast ratio. We are not in a position to be able to test one of these projectors so we are seeking input from this forum to see if anyone can recommend this projector for us or another brand/model that will do the job for us. We use the projector for OpenSong/PowerPoint presentations and some videos/dvds. Thank you in advance for any input provided.
