Wow - Great forum - I'm glad I found this place. Anyways, looking to upgrade my setup as I have added a PS3/blu-ray player. I currently have a Tivo HD/Xbox 360/etc connected via component to an Onkyo receiver which is connected to a ceiling mounted Toshiba DLP projector via 25' RGB cable. I'm now looking to replace the cabling with HDMI and run 1080p native from the PS3. I understand that TivoHD will only go to 1080i. The xbox 360 will also do 1080p I believe. The projector doesn't support HDMI, so I was looking at getting the NEC VT-800 which does 1080p as well. Is there or what is the major differences between a standard $800 1080p computer projector and a $1500+ home theater projector? Being in IT, I use the standard projectors all day without problems...so what am I getting for the extra $$$ and any thoughts on the NEC? (I know lcd/dlp - any comparable DLP out there?)
