Topic:   Blue Tint in Image--Help

Hello all, I am newly registered to this forum and did a bit of reading prior to purchasing my first projector. It is a Proxima Ultralight LX1. I am resonably satisfied with the projection onto my white wall, except that only thing that really bothers me is the blue bias to the image. I can live with the "slight" lack of focus. It appears that I'm chasing the perfect focus. Regarding the setup: It is being projected through my HTPC with an ATi All-in-Wonder 9600 video card. I tried making some color adjustments to the software of the vid card to no avail. Best I could do was add some red and green. I removed the lamp to see that the reflective part has a bit of blue around the edges. It appears to be designed that way, as I saw a photo of a replacement online which also appeared to have it. Adjacent to the lamp at 90deg is a shield of some sort (plastic maybe) that would be flat except it is multifaceted and blue also. I don't know what this is called, so sorry for the bad description. Can anyone offer any suggestions for correcting the blue tint?

Topic:   Best projector Ever!!!! Check this out!

ive scene that projector on ebay for $150 !! i felt it was crap so i dident even consider buying it(also since im on a very small budget(only 16 years old)) on ebay I found a Proxima Ultralight LX1 projector that was said to have a dead bulb. I bought it to try fitting an overhead projector bulb into it, but when I opened the projector it turned out to have a disconnected AC power line to the lamp balast. after connecting the wire I reassembled the projector, fired it up and it worked fine with the soposed to be dead bulb!!! even better the machine only has 320 hours on it and the bulb has 315 hours out of 4000 used!!!!! to this day the projector has not failed me at all. figureing out how to fit an overhead projector lamp into it http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y258/paulk501/S4020074.jpg loose plug http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y258/paulk501/S4020080.jpg working GREAT!! http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y258/paulk501/S4020086.jpg http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y258/paulk501/S4020082.jpg 46 inch plasma in view http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y258/paulk501/S4020088.jpg on the wall http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y258/paulk501/S4020122.jpg
