Hello forum. I'm new to projectors and looking for a good budget system for watching movies only, no games. (Sorry for the newbie questions.) So far I have the Pioneer DV-420V-K 1080p Upscaling DVD Player and surround sound. I'm looking at the Optoma EP721 DLP and so far the reviews look very encouraging. I plan to use DVDs or hard drive as the source, not cable. At about the same price, are there any other projectors that might better the EP721? What picture size can I expect to get with the projector placed 12 to 20 feet from the screen? Is it realistic to expect a good sharp 72" or 92" diagonal picture? What type of screen should I consider? I'm looking at the 92" Panoview DS-9092PM. I don't need an electric screen - just a simple pull-down. Will any good pull-down screen do the job? Hi all, I'm kinda new to all of this and would really appreciate ur help! I've connected my xbox to my projector (optoma Ep721) through the s-video cable. ive got the picture to work but i cant get the audio. my sub is connected directly to the projector through the audio jack but i still have no sound? Please please help!! Thanks!!
