Well still trying to finish all the small details, I had to move my center channel speaker so I built a stand out of scrap wood, I also added some rope light under the riser and added a second sub.
I moved the pooltable into the bar area and added a 32 inch Sony LCD T.V. with an old pair of mini Advents I had.
I also put an old Sony 555ES receiver to power the second zone in the rack and I am about to run 100 foot component cable to an old Sony T.V. in my old living room and use an RF remote to operate the STB in the theater for this up coming winter because heating the basement last winter cost a small fortune, I have a nice wood burning stove in the old living room, I will still keep looking for a better way to heat the basement maybe a small pellet stove or something like that.
Here are some pics of the updates, Sorry about the quality my camera is about to die |

Hi Guys,
Well the globe in my BENQ MP610 has finally died, and when looking at replacement globe, I decided that it's would be better value for me to get a new projector rather than get a new globe for this one. Looking at the Panasonic AX200U to replace it with.
Now I have my current projector at 3.5m from my screen, and when doing calculations using the 'Projection Calculator Pro' it states that the AX200U will be at 88nits while the MP610 will be at 222nits @ 3.5m... I know that the AX200U is a much better projector than the MP610, but does this mean it will be far less bright?
These are the specs, with the same lumens I thought I would have expected the same brightness?
MP610: 800x600 resolution DLP, 2000 ANSI lumens, 2000:1 contrast, 1.15:1 zoom, 6.4 lbs
vs
AX200U: 1280x720 resolution 3LCD, 2000 ANSI lumens, 6000:1 contrast, 2.00:1 zoom, 10.8 lbs
Can anyone tell me what I'm missing :)
Cheers,
Kenour! |

Hey all, I've been trolling here for a while, and used people's recommendations to pick up a Panasonic PT-AX200U that just came in yesterday. I just finished ceiling mounting this where my previous projector, a Dell 1100MP, used to be, and I was hoping I'd be able to use the previous cables I'd run for the Dell.
I have a 50' comp to 15 pin cable because the Dell only accepted component input through the 15 pin, it had no separate input for component cables. I plugged the 15 pin into the Panasonic's computer input, but only the green cord is being displayed. I can unplug both the red and the blue from my receiver and it makes no difference in the picture.
Is there any way I can get it to properly display this, or am I going to just have to buy a regular component cable to fix the problem? Thank you for any help you can provide on this. |

Panasonic recommends that I have a throw distance of 14' for a 106" screen. I only have about 13' of space. Will that small of a differance be ok, or should I begin cutting holes in my wall?
Thanks for any help!! |

Hey Ppl,ive had my projector for many months now (PT-AX200U)
PS3,360 have been running fine, however today i tried to hook up my sky tv box through rca and i got no picture at all.My set top box doesnt have hdmi so i was using rca cable to s video on PJ,the cables are fine when hooking them up to ps2 so i know its not a fault on the cable. My set top box only has scart in/out so i connect my rca cables to from scart slot and plug into s video(even tried component slots but nothing happens?
Ive tested all slots on my projector and all run fine
