Topic:   Lcd projector or dlp projector?

If you are going to watch during the day, then you certainly need a projector with high lumens. The xr20s throws a nice picture for an xga business class projector from everything I have read on the AVS forums. So the question is: what are your priorities? Do you want something you can watch during the day? Do you want 1080p or can you live with 720p? What is your price range? What is your throw distance and screen size? Are you ceiling or shelf mounting? If this is in your price range and 720p is ok with you, it might be a good compromise with 4000 lumens. (i have bought from this store before and have had no problems). http://www.thetwistergroup.com/store/customer/product.php?productid=SP-831%20D41548&source=fr If that is too much money then an Optoma HD71 is a good choice at 720p with 2400 lumens. I have heard of some people getting incredible closeout deals on this projector at Circuit City. Otherwise you can get it here for $950. http://powersellernyc.com/product/view/Optoma-Technology-HD71-DLP-Projector-22523.html If you really want 1080p, I would look at the Epson 6100 or Optoma HD80.
