Topic:   Mits HC4900 - $1399 - woohoo

Well, I just purchased my first 1080p projector, the HC4900. Starting today through the 31st, projectorpeople is giving an additional $100 off the projector making it $1399 after rebate. I decided on this one after reading several reviews and realizing that the HC4900 cannot be passed up for this price compared to its competitors. The others I was interested in were the Panasonic PT-AE2000U and the Sanyo PLV-Z2000. I think I will be very happy. As for a couple of questions. The projectorcentral review states "Data Compatibility: Computer resolutions up to SXGA 1280x1024". What does this mean? If I send a 720 or 1080 resolution to it from a computer what will happen? Not sure what "Data Compatibility" means. Also, I plan on using my Xbox 360 with the projector and want to know if the projector has any issues receiving a 1080p signal over VGA as this is the only method the 360 uses to display 1080p content via the games and HD-DVD's.

Topic:   Mitsubishi HC4900 - $1995 + $500 rebate = $1495

Check out Theprojectorplace.com, They have a deal today and possibly all next week on the HC4900 for $1995, before the rebate. So with the $500 rebate, the price comes a meager $1495. That is about the best deal for a 1080P that I have seen. Happy shopping!
