Topic:   Image Displaying Slightly Convex ???

Thanks everyone for your responses. You are all correct that my projector is not level. Thought I could mount it slightly on a downward angle and adjust the angle of the lense within one of the menus. I guess I cannot do that, so I will level out the projector and mess around with the lens shift. I'll update after I complete this step ...

Topic:   Image Displaying Slightly Convex ???

I recently set up my Mitz 4900 as a ceiling mount projection and I am seeing the image projected with a slight convex curve on the screen. Meaning, the image fills the screen at the bottom, but as you move up the screen on either side, the image moves in towards the center leaving a gradual empty space on either side of the screen which becomes larger and larger as you move towards the top of the screen. Screen is 119", 16:9 ratio and projector is mounted approx. 13 ft. away from screen. Any suggestions on what I can do to fix this? I cannot seem to locate any specific settings (Keystone) within the menu that would help to fix this.

Topic:   Universal remote control???

Sorry to drag this old thread back out, but I've been searching and couldn't find an answer to this..... I'm just in the process of setting up my first HT and am planning to get a Harmony remote (regular IR, not RF). I want to be able to use the remote as I do my regular TV (i.e. point forward towards the screen), but I'm concerned that the distance/range/reflection may not be sufficient. I'll be sitting 14-17' away from the screen (1.0 gain), with the projector overhead and the AV equipment to the right, or slightly behind. Will the IR bounce off the screen to turn the equipment on? Can I put a small mirror in the corner and aim there? Am I stuck having to point the remote up/sideways? Hopefully I'm worrying about nothing. Thanks in advance!

Topic:   Problem with visible line shown on my new Mitsubishi HC4900

Hello Everyone, Can someone please tell me what this line shown in my image is? I just purchased this Mitsubishi HC4900 and it shows up even when there is no signal to the screen. No signal its shows up dark blue matching the screen color, with signal it shows up white with a pink hue above the line. Thanks for any help you can provide...

Topic:   power cord issue

First Post here and I have a dilema. I bought a HC 4900 at the beginning of the month from the internet and I opened made sure everything was there. I finished my basement as my home theater and was all geared up to turn everything on this morning and I noticed I have a power cord that is European--I think-. So now I have a call into Mitsubishi for a different power cord but I am wondering if the projector itself will work in the US or is it made for Europe as far as the power source goes. Sorry for the long post its just the little things that kill me Thanks JIM
