Topic:   HORIZONTAL LINES SCROLLING FROM BOTTOM TO TOP

Please discard my earlier response, as it didnt hold true after 3/4 days. I tried connecting all the power sources to a single Strip(Surge Protector) with Cable in/out connectivity. However , it still shows up the horizontal line scrolling. Now , I can see that scrolling is from TOP to Bottom. I am not sure, what is the real problem. Can somebody throw me some more information, how to eliminate this problem. Thanks. Swami

Topic:   HORIZONTAL LINES SCROLLING FROM BOTTOM TO TOP

Thanks for your input. Actually , I have placed a CFL bulb in the holder ,(which was empty earlier) which is also sharing same electrical connection for the projector. Only after placing the the Horizontal lines showed up , I believe. Based on your input for ground loop, I thought this new bulb also would have created some type of ground loop problem. Then I removed the bulb and tried playing the projector. I have run 2 movies after removing it. No horizontal lines. Thanks for your input. I will keep monitoring it for this weekend. And again ,planning to put the bulb and play the projector for few days to get confirmation on this issues. Thanks for your inputs and letting me know, that it is not projector or player problem .:)

Topic:   HORIZONTAL LINES SCROLLING FROM BOTTOM TO TOP

EPSON 77C is mounted to ceiling and connected to blu ray player via VGA to Component cable(NO HDMI input). When it plays DVD, I can see horizontal lines scrolling from bottom to top. I tried changing the players and also exchanged the Projector, however no difference. Still the horizontal lines scrolls up continuously. Can somebody say ,whats wrong with this. how to eliminate this. FYI: I had Epson S5 before this 77c and hooked up to same player via same cable, but these horizontal lines were not there. This appears only after changing the projector to 77c.

Topic:   Epson 77c color problem

Hi, I recently purchased a used Epson powerlite 77c and when I tried to watch a movie there was no color. It just shows as bluish or no color at all. I have tried all adjustments to no avail. The lamp only has 18 hours on it. I would welcome any suggestions.
