Which projector would be better: The Panasonic PT-FW100NTU or the Sanyo PLC-WXU30. Out door movies on a 16' x 9' 1.3 Gain screen with a 25' to 30' throw. Seating would start about 15' from the screen. I understand for that size screen I need a least 3000 lumens. What do you think. movieman
Panasonic will release (or just have released) a native 1280 x 800 projector with 3000 ansi lumen. It has a new dustproof enclosing and "self-renewable" air filter. I have tested the XGA-version and if the Wide-version has the same image quality it will be money well spent.
