Topic:   Aspect Ratios 16:9/ 4:3

Need some help here. I'm getting around to replacing an old 4:3 CRT projector with a new JVC DLA RS1U. I'd like to position the 16:9 picture at the top of my existing 4:3 screen. Can anyone tell me what will happen when I go back to view 4:3 aspect material?? Will I over shoot the top of the screen? Will I be able to fill the full screen?

Topic:   JVC DLA-RS1 Blue Light Spill

Not sure how to describe this properly, but I just recently bought an RS1 (supposedly identical to HD1) and I noticed there is a faint, but noticeable blue light around the edges of the projected image. It is about 2-3 in. wide and doesn't have a defined edge. It fades as it gets further from the edge of the image. It is uneven, and even appears to be making it's way into the upper left corner of the image, thought it may just be an unevenness in the brightness there. It seems to happen regardless of the image source (ps2 hooked up through component, or Oppo 1080p upscaling DVD player through HDMI). It isn't completely apparent when the usual movie scene is playing, but when showing a black or dark image, I can see where the line where the black ends (at the image edge) and the blue begins...does this sound like light is escaping from somewhere that it shouldnt? or is this something typical of projectors in general and is usually taken care of by the light absorbing screen frames (it's my first projector). I'll be in contact with the seller, but I thought I would try to get some opinions first. Thanks for any help/insight.
