I have been working on setting up my own home theater in my basement and have been offered a Marantz VP4001 from an aquantaince. He says the unit is brand new. I noticed that on the internet, prices are all over the place. So my questions are, is this as good a unit as he says it is, and how much is it really worth? I'm hoping to have this whole thing sorted out soon so any information would be greatly appreciatated.
