Topic:   BenQ W10000 good enough for the money?

Hello, this is my first post so forgive me if I miss any critical information. I have an opportunity to purchase slightly used (~200 Hours) demo BenQ W10000 projector for about $2200. I have read what I could about this PJ, and it seems that in its prime, this was a fairly decent PJ. I'm not concerned about number of inputs, as I plan to run most/all of them thru my AVR, so switching will be done there. Now for some background: We have built a dedicated HT room. It is no where near finished and money ran out when we got screwed on several projects we were involved in, but I digress. Room is 26'9"L x 17'1"W x ~11'H. 10' height ceiling in the back of the room at house level is 12' long, 11' high ceiling at the 6' long landing/level/step in the middle, 12'H front of the room. Room is fully light controlled. We expect to utilize the room do watch ~80% movies, ~10%NFL, ~10%HD DirecTV (shows/specials). I think that we would like to set it up the room for 2:40, although I don't know enough about it yet to make that decision. Not sure if its going to be thru masking or anamorphic lens, but if lens is used, this might be significant factor if you tell me that the W10000 can't accept ???. My question is this: should I buy a W10000 now at what might be a significant savings, and use it a little while we're trying to get the room finished, or should I wait and when we're done with the room, purchase whatever current model will be, for the $2000-$3500 I would expect my budget to be? The room is drywalled and painted, no carpets, acoustical treatment, screen or seats, heck, we're still missing the door from living room to HT. Don't slam me down (too much), but yea, I painted the front wall so we could use the room as is, with a cheap loaned PJ. We're set up 7.1 running thru Denon 988, using existing speakers and plopped our living room couch and 2 recliners and have been red-necking the home cinema experience a bit while we're working on saving money to complete the room properly. I know a lot of people will have different opinions, some will just laugh and point, that's OK. I don't have enough knowledge on the subject, and therefore no opinion at all. I'm looking to you, experts, or at least people with passion and knowledge to guide me. Let me know what you think and thank you for the time you took to read this and hopefully replied. Mario
