This is the equipment I am considering so far for my home theater. Let me know what you think and if there is another product that may be better, or be the same but cost less, or if something I have listed is not such a good choice at all.
Epson 6100 1080p 3LCD Projector - $1840
Denon AVR-1609 7.1 Receiver - $220
JBL CS6100BG 6-piece surround sound speakers - $485 (Note: I'll add in my Bose 301 bookshelf speaker for the front L&R for the additional speakers to get the 7.1 system I want).
Total Cost for this is $2545
All I will need to add is screen and Blu-Ray DVD - Looking for suggestions on these.
Have a Look at Epson PowerLite 6100i. It has an enclosed housing with very good fitering. It is made to be used in dusty environments. It also comes with a spare lamp bundled in the package. Physically it's a bit big for it's performance, but that is a small price to pay for a prolonged life of the projector.
Have a look at Epson 6100. It has a closed cabinet an air filters for use in dusty environments. I'm not sure if it's guaranteed for 24/7 operations.
ProjectionDesign has a model built for use in simulators and such that are guaranteed for 24/7. http://www.projectiondesign.com/Default.asp?CatID=1495
