Hello,
I was looking for help for a problem I have with my Hitachi HDPJ52 Projector. Recently I noticed the picture is very dull, maybe half of what it should be. Thinking the obvious that the lamp was starting to fade, I looked and found I had 3400 hours on the lamp. I replaced the lamp but my picture was no different. The projector is in a good clean environment and the filter has been cleaned regularly. I have messed with the setting (including brightness, contrast, etc.) but nothing seems to help. I have tried resetting all setting and I have tried the reset on the projector itself but nothing helped. Also I tried different cables and I tried the different video sources (component, rca, hdmi).
Seems there is very little resources out their and I have tried everything I know so anybody who might know the problem I would welcome the help.
Thank you |

i just got this projector in a yard sale so i set it up and just painted the wall to project on. that works great but i am having problems with the screen being tapered and cutting off the picture on the top and right side only.
i am feeding from a sattalite if this makes a difference, which also has the info screen cut off at top and right side.
i know there is somebody out there that knows alot more than me.
thanks in advance for your help.

I was using my projector yesterday and it worked fine. Today when I try to turn it on a high pitched trilling noise comes out and no light comes out. Any ideas to what could be the problem? I checked the manual and found nothing under troubleshooting.
Thanks in advance,

Having problems with this projector... The screen has purple spots on the screen and also a few green spots. I will attach a picture of the screen and you can see the spots in the pictures, more noticable on white background. |

Hi,
I have the hdpj52 and it's a great projector in a completely dark room but if you have some light coming in the room it's not that great. I don't know about the Z4 but I guess it will be about the same. |
