So I need some advice. I own a Sanyo PlC-XU73. Yesterday night, the yellow light on the lamp replacement went on, meaning that it needs to be replaced. The funny thing is, the lamp is supposed to last for 2000 hours, and the lamp counter shows that it has only been used for 1008 hours. I feel like I've been cheated because it has only been used for half its supposed life. I know lamp life varies from one to another but is this reasonable to be expected? Also, in the case that i do in fact need to replace my projector lamp, I was wondering whether I should buy the 334 dollar replacement lamp or whether I should buy a new projector. If the new replacement lamp fails like it did for this one, I'm not sure if I should spend the 334 dollars. Also, does anyone know the best place for cheapest replacement bulb purchasing? Please let me know! Thanks guys!!!
