Had the H27 for 3 years. VERY happy. Terrific bang for the buck. Now it is totally dead. No lights, no fan. Nothing. Cannot find reset button, and cannot find any type of fuse. Confirmed bulb is secured (even though it has not been moved from ceiling mount). And yes, confirmed good power and good power cable. Any ideas or suggestons ?

i have this projector for about three years and love it,
up to now i have been using composite and s video connections,
yesterday i tried to hook it up to a ps3 with a blue ray movie,
i used a hdmi to dvi lead,
but all i keep getting on the screen is no signal,

I am setting up my projector to a PC via DVI port however the only resolution I can get is 640x480. I would like to set it up so I can get at least 800x600, but preferrably 1024x768. I tried to look for a driver, but did not have any luck. When I boot the computer the projector splash screen flashes 640x480 resolution. If anyone can direct me to a driver or advise how to set up the PC to recognize this projector with a better resolution, I would greatly appreciate it.
Help...I have the Optoma H27. I have had it for about 2 years with no problems.
My young kids were playing with the unit and now thw picture is only in black and white.
Everything works great, but no color.
I couldn't find a setting in the menu.
Is something broke internally ??

I have been building a new house and will have a dedicated theater room in it. Anyway I bought a Peerless Universal Mount PRS-UNV and have been unable to find screws to mount it. The manual calls for 8mm to 10mm M2.6 screws which are entirely too short. Also the heads are too small to catch the mount so washers have to be used which means the screws need to be long enough to go catch the washer, go through the mount and screw into the projector.
I ordered a set of 15mm long M2.6 screws from some guy in Australia via ebay. These are not the correct size screws for the projector althoough the label clearly read the correct size of M2.6. These screws were too small (they could be pushed into the projector holes with no need to screw in/out) and the threading was too large. 2 of the screws may have been long enough, but one wasn't going to be for sure. I think 20mm screws would be better as I could always add additional washers if they are too long.
Anywho...has anyone ceiling mounted this projector and what did you use or where did you find them? I've already checked the local lowes and trader horn and neither have screws that small. Or am I trying to use the wrong mounting holes although that's what the online manual said to use. I'm stuck and need some help here.
