I have a PJ1172 and need to trigger my screen. The "DC Out" and the "remote" ports output 5v all the time. Is there a dc signal that turns on & off with the projector? Thanks for the help. |

I have a brand new PJ1172 that was a mistake. It is a 4500 lumens, XGA, HDTV compatible, LARGE SCALE projector. I didn't need so much projector. I am having a hard time getting rid of such a high end unit. I am only asking $2500 for it. If anyone is interested let me know. I will take best offer. Me cell is 617 922 2741
My email is gtillots@mail.rochester.edu
Let me know. I will ship but local pickup is preferred. |

Currently my problem is that a 4,500 lumen LCD projector will be ceiling mounted on a 20' ceiling and will be shooting onto a 20' or so screen. However we need the video outputs to be "wall plate" accessible in the front of the room. The projector has BNC, M1-D, VGA, S-video, component, and composite.
How might i run.... 75 feet or so of data cables to the front? And we don't want cables dangling, so there would have to be a wall plate.
I have also noticed that in some professional installations, they use a 5 cable BNC data (A BNC cable has 5 connectors that receive Red, Green, Blue, Horizontal Sync and Vertical Sync information) hookup.
Is there such thing as a "video server" than can input any type of video feed and spit it out as a single signal (say.. VGA) so there would only have to be 1 video run instead of multiple ones? |
