Hi Matt, I would like the procedure in detail if you can post it for us. I too have a few of the LP700s with similar probs & would like to repair if able. Thank you very much I can give you lots more info on this problem and how I fixed mine, but it's a real involved fix and you have to be pretty good at tinkering to be successful. It also requires a "parts projector" to get another (good) LCD panel. The good thing is that you can probably get a good panel from another 'bad' projector on ebay fairly cheap. Good luck.
