I have an optoma dv10 and I don't like it's builtin audio system. I would like to hookup to my own audio system. any ideas?

MY OPtoma DV 10 has been working good and yesterday while watching a movie suddenly there was a loud popping sound and the projector shut down. When I turned on in two minutes after fan cooling was over, it turned on and in another 3 minutes there was this same loud popping sound and the projector shut down.
Does this mean that the lamp life is over? or it could be anything else.
Thanks in advance

I've recently purchased the Optoma Movietime DV10 and would like to connect my sat receiver box to it. There's an adaptor (SCART to VGA/S-VIDEO) that comes with it and i've plugged this into my receiver and used a standard VGA between. The projector detects the source but no picture is displayed.
Any ideas why?
Had the same problem some video source's donot output rgb signals
you need to purchase a scart to composite adaptor (red white yellow
connectors )dv 10 will detect and display pictures

I was wondering if anyone had an experience of Rolling Blackouts when using a Projector? How would it impact the bulb?
I am thinking of using the projector while visiting India, my concern is sudden Power outages. UPS power supply is hard to find..

One of the issues i was facing with DV10 is selecting source to detect RGB : my laptop connection. When searching for sources, it seem to cycle thru the inputs automatically.
Next, i have to specify the original pixel resolution my laptop is configured which is 1024x768. The projector automatically displays the format as intended.
However if i set it to 1280x720, then there is no image displayed on the screen, and the projector cycles thru and stops at DVD as the source.
Any suggestions, thoughts or comments?
