Sheridan, Any Chance I might be able to get an LT 265 Color Wheel, NEC PN: 12JS8901. I would need a price and contact information. PM me at firstname.lastname@example.org. Thanks for any assistance you may be able to give.

LT260 - 12JS5541
LT265 - 12JS8901
LT280 - Is an LCD projector, no color wheel
These part numbers are per the manuals when they were printed. New part numbers may have superceded them by now, but crossing over is no problem.

I wonder if anyone could help me with the part numbers for the color wheels for the following NEC LT projectors:
Please confirm that the color wheel par number for the LT260 is: 12JS5541.
Thanks in advance. I work for a large corporation and have more that 125 NEC LTxxx projectors across our campus and money is very tight. Many are older and the majority problem is a broken or shattered color wheel. I have been able to replace many using parts from other broken projectors, but have run out and need to purchase several color wheels in what looks like it will be an ongoing project.
The only other major issue we have seen is the ballast going out in the LT260 model, which we have replaced more than a dozen.

I use the projector for my TV and last night something broke and it started making a buzzing sound. I looked in the lamp compartment and colored shards were falling out. I turned it back on and now it vibrates really bad. It looks like there is something inside that spins really fast that has broken and is now off balance. It has the yellow and blue segments but the red segment is gone (in small pieces).
The unit is 3-4 years old with maybe 6000 hours.
Is this repairable or is it time to start shoping again?

I just replaced the lamp for the first time and with the new lamp installed the far right 2 inches of the image is fades to black on an 80 inch wide image. It's been running on and off for more than 5 hours with the same results.
