Topic:   DLP projector problem with any moving images

Hi everybody I'm new to projectors and I did a search on this problem but couldnt find any answers. My setup consists of HP EP7112 (and I realized nobody seems to be using it, dint know it was that bad) connected to graphics card's Svideo out (unfortunately HP ppl were too dumb to think of putting a vga port on this). In movies (DVD or avi and the effect is more pronounced in DVDs), whenever the camera is panning on a character from one point to another and I'm talking about slow movement not the sports kind, it has a lot of rainbow effect with a combination of multiple ghost images making me feel as if the screen is taking time to refresh and the whole movement looks like it's in slow motion. This is very easy to reproduce when they show anything that has alternate dark and light bands e.g. a staircase railing, a shot through tree leaves, a character is moving his/her limbs while talking etc. I can also see a more pronounced rainbow effect when this happens. Has anybody ever seen this with any other DLP projector? Could it be something to do with computer artifacts because of SVideo quality problems? Thanks V
