I purchased a broken Infocus x1a in hopes of mounting it's color wheel into my x1. They are not compatible with each other.
Needless to say, I have a color wheel for an x1a available...it is mounted with the light tunnel, but I am not sure what that condition is as I couldn't power up the unit. The color wheel itself is immaculate.
Anyone interested please email me at thunderstruckdjs@chartermi.net |

sheridan: are you still able to get the light tunnel for the Infocus x1a? I tried repairing myself and ended up breaking one of the mirrors. Called Infocus directly, they wanted over $1,000 for a repair! How riduculous! Please Help!!!!!!!mpsinger@verizon.net |

I have an Infocus X1a with a light tunnel problem. After conducting some research, I've come to the realization that I'd rather not go diving into the machine myself and risk color wheel breakage, etc.
I've read posts from someone here who apparently does repairs, and I'm wondering about how much they would charge to work on this projector. I know it's not the greatest machine out there, but I'd hate to just end up scrapping it.
Thanks for your help,
-Nick |
