I have bought an Infocus SP-777 that is refurbished and an Onkyo
home theater receiver that was refurbished and both units work well.
Think of it this way, the unit has a second quality check. Most companies will offer an extended warranty for a reasonable price. The Onkyo unit looked like it had never been put into service.
A refurbished unit gets sent back to the manufacture for what ever the reason and it is put through the test to see what is wrong. The manufacture will re-align, adjust the bias on the amps, re-tweak what ever the unit needs to make it like new again.
I was a audio/video technician for 7 years so I am aware of how the industry works. Make sure you purchase the unit from a reputable place. |

I'm having trouble getting my 4805 to process a signal from my Toshiba SDV55HT receiver in VCR mode or TV mode. No problem in DVD mode. Can anyone help me out? I am using a premium s-video cable at the moment - no component cable yet. |

This thing is a monster. When I think about it I get a tingling sensation all over. If there is anyone out there with ties to millionaires that want to enjoy a moron doing whatever it takes to get his hands on one of these things, just let me know! I'd moonwalk from here to Texas in thongs just to get my hands on one of these things. The look absolutely amazing...I wish I were rich instead of good lookin' * j/k . Doesn't it just suck seeing all of these wonderful toys that are a tad bit out of your pricerange? Man, I'd do anything for a 7200 series infocus or higher...tell the reps and infocus to start a contest for idiots like me that have big dreams and small wallets...(Don't get me wrong I'm middle class and 27 but I certainly can't afford the Screenplay 777. Selling at a street price of $27,000 ish !!! My fiance would take the little bit of manhood I have left! It would not be good. Anyone with information on how to legally obtain one of these projectors without dying and working more than 70hours a week please let me know. |

Hi,
I just wondered if anyone owns or has seen in action the InFocus ScreenPlay 777? It looks like an incredible projector. 3 chip DLP. At over $20K, it's a big ticket item, but I'm still interested.
