I have a viewsonic PJ510 projector. The component input has stopped functioning on it, and someone told me that I could use the projector's VGA input to still watch my projector in HD. My question is, do I need to buy a box that converts the signal to run component into an VGA input?
I see on ebay several cables with VGA on one end and component on the other, but these are being advertisied to be used the reverse of what I am looking for, so people can connect a laptop's VGA port to component on their LCD tv or projector. And then I also see converter boxes which are about $50 more than the cables. So before I go spend $60 on a box I wanted to check if that is indeed what I need. And if so does anyone have any recommendations for one? |
