I've got a Direct TV HDTV reciever... I currently have my Toshiba HD Projector hooked to the reciever by composite cables.
I also want to add a LCD HDTV to the reciever using the HDMI slot.
Now will the signal go out to both the HDMI and Composites? Or will only 1 signal go out?
Thanks all!

I have a Toshiba MT-800 (also marketed as INFOCUS 7205) and I am having problems with it. Specifically, vertical lines are appearing on the picture. I had it fixed under warranty last year and it was the ECA Controller. Now, 10 months after it was fixed, the same problem is appearing. The part alone is $975 and an authorized repair center wants at least $300 to install it. So about $1,300 to fix it, when a new projector (with warranty) is about $2,00.
Wondering if anyone else has had the same problem. I can't figure out what is causing this. Maybe I need a voltage regulator between the projector and the 110 outlet?
Also, any tips on fighting with Toshiba on warranty work? I am going to push for a replacement unit since this one appears to be a lemon. I can't find anywhere on the net where people had the same problems!
Any advice, suggestions would be helpful!
Thanks!

So it appears I have a bad pixel on my Toshiba TDP-MT800. Is this a common occurence with DLP's. This is my first projector and I havn't read much about this.
Any input would be great...

Hey, I was noticing that there is firmware updates for the InFocus ScreenPlay 7205. I have the Toshiba TDP-MT800 wich, is exactly the same projector... however... there is no update available for it. I was wondering if there is some way to get the update. I have tryed Toshoba customer Service but they aren't very helpfull.
Please Help!!! |
