Hi, this is my frst post here, sorry that it is a problem post! Not sure if you can advise me, i have a canon LV-7215 i bought second hand and there is something wrong with the picture, it looks as if it is polarised or flaring of some kind, for instance faces of people have weird patterns where the light would be reflecting, their hair looks really odd too, i have tried all the settings available and no amount of adjustment will get rid of it. otherwise it is very bright, nice colours, good contrast, good definition, just this odd effect. could it be the lamp? or is it a symptom of something more serious? i do have a spare lamp so i could try that. i would appreciate any advice you might be able to give. cheers EDIT- 'polarising' might be a poor choice of word given the descriptions of specific problems with polarisers in projectors, it is not the problem these posts describe, there is no 'yellowing' or similar.
