My projector has lost it image brightness. I have turned all the settings up to max with no joy. I managed to get a replacement bulb but still the image is not bright. The image also has what I can only describe as blue clouding on the image.
thx for your help. |

Need help. My understanding of all this is improving, but I'm still a little confused about the resolutions a projector will support. My Sharp PG-B10S has native 800x600, but apparently supports 1400x1050, and also is 1080i compatible. Well, 1080i is far better resolution than 800x600, right? Doesn't 1080i mean 1920x1080 resolution?
So if a projector supports 1080i, which is an HDTV mode, why can't it similarly give you 1920x1080 resolution when you're watching a DVD?
If you can't get 1920x1080 when watching a DVD, how do you get it to go to 1400x1050 resolution, and what are the consequences of that?(e.g., smaller picture, and if so, how small--will I still be able to get it to project a 100 inch image with the greater resolution?)
I'm new to this and just setting up my first HTPC, so you all be nice to me and don't call me bad names for my ignorance. I appreciate the help and I'm thankful there's a forum for this kind of stuff. |

i have a sharp PG-B10S LCD projector which I have been using to watch movies. Lately I have noticed a green tint in the lower centre portion of picture which is only noticeable during dark scenes. It appears to be getting worse. Lamp timer shows only 250hours. Any ideas what is causing this and if so how do i fix it?
thanks |
