Topic:   HELP REQUIRED

The actual model is ELP 7100. I have just acquired this second hand and although it powers up and shows a picture there seems to be a purple shadow ghosting the images. So if I have a picture of a man he will have a purple shadow down the left had side of him. I also am getting duplicate images with script. Any suggestions would be most helpful. PS Please keep it very simple!

Topic:   My red is slipping!

Hello all, I had a quick scan of the FAQs and the pinned yellow thread but it didn't seem to be what i was after. I scored an old Epson EMP 70000 projector from work that they were going to toss and I have set it up and it runs great, except for one little problem. It seems that the Red colour is shifting or running to the left slightly, which ghosts everything on screen. very annoying. I have tested the projector using image from both a VGA and RCA inputs and both have the same problem. Would this be something I should be able to adjust via the menu system? Can I open it up and straighten something out? Any help would be much appriciated. Bonus question: what would the 'sync' buttons be for? I press them and it doesnt seem to do anything. Tracking buttons are positioned as left and right arrows and the sync buttons are positioned as up and down arrows. (these arrows are also used for navigating the menu). Again, any help would be much appriciated.

Topic:   Technical issue with an Epson.

Okay folks, here's a stumper for you. I have recently purchased a used Epson Powerlite 7000 for use in a stage performance. In order to test the projector, it was plugged into a DVD player, and gave me a flawless image. Now here's the tricky part: I left the room for the 10 minuted it takes to burn a DVD of what I needed to play in the background during the show, and returned to see how it looked when projected. However, the Powelite is now totally unresponsive. The twin LED's are shining yellow, a color not covered in our manual. Both the buttons on the projector and the remote contol have no effect, and the only way to turn it off is to unplug it. However, when plugged back in, the projector resumes being totally unresponsive. Any thoughts?
