Topic:   BENQ PB8220 Remote Control

I have a BenQ PB8220 Projector and can't for the life of me find a replacement remote anywhere on the net. If anyone has any helpful information on how to find/get one it would be very sincerely appreciated.

Topic:   4:3 vs 16:9 in conference applications

I have recently reworked our CR. We have a BenQ 8220 4:3 native projector. We will be adding a second screen and so I have purchased a second projector. I just received the new Panasonic PT-AX100U. What a fantasitic projector for the money! It is simply brilliant, what a picture! The PT-AX100U is 16:9 native. Any who... I am going down this 4:3/16:9 dilemma road. Need to explain to the boss in near time (ie. NOW) why we should keep this projector. The issue is of course the fact that native 16:9, when made to cast 4:3, produces side letter boxes; not full screen width. Not acceptable. I appreciate the argument that more and more laptops are coming 16:9 also and this will make the point moot but I still have to deal with older laptops that throw only 4:3. Suggestions? SOON.... Tim

Topic:   Dell 4100MP and the BenQ PB8220

Dear Collective, I have a quick question which hopefully someone can help me out with. I work in a business that is doing digital jurying of artwork. We've been using the Dell 4100MP for projection in a sRGB color space for the last year. We find ourselves needing more projection equipment, but Dell has discontinued the 4100MP. It had intuitive easy settings for it run in sRGB mode. First off, anybody have a line on where I might be able to get seven 4100MPs? Secondly, I'm reviewing the BenQ PB8220 as an alternate projector. It has almost identical specs to the 4100MPs. Problem is, there doesn't seem to be an easy way to shift it to the sRGB color space, nor can I find helpful documentation for this online (or in the paper manual). Any good tips? TIA for any help!
