Topic:   problem with overheating...Help me?

I recently purchased a used Dell 2100mp at a realy great price. The only problem that I have found (besides missing cables) is that when I run the projector, it will overheat after about 20 minutes of use. After this 20 minute time period, the lamp warning comes on even faster and the projector powers down into cool down mode. The fans are running and it cools quickly, but the presentation I teach, using the projector (and power point) runs for about 2 hours, sometimes longer. (not only during presentations, does the projector show a "lamp overheat" warning, but during any other mode I use the projector for.) Does anyone know if there is a fan upgrade or a "turbo" setting for the fans, to help cool the lamp? I've downloaded the owner's manual, which doesn't say anything about overheating. Topic:   In need of new bulb?

I have a Dell 2100MP that has 490 hours of use on the bulb. Though purchased 2 or 3 years ago, I have not yet replaced the bulb. One of writeups on it indicate 2,000 lamp bulb life. I noticed the last few times I've used it that there is a pronounced yellow tint along the left side of the picture from top to bottom. It is definitely yellow and I've thrown picture up against different screen just to make sure it is the lamp not the screen. Is this the behavior of a failing bulb or indicitive of something more sinsiter? :) Any help would be appreciated, Thanks, KO PS- I must say I enjoy reading the posts and recommendations on this site. Lots of good information!
