When I attach the Red, Blue, and Green RCA cables from my xbox360 to my projector I just got, the projector can't recognize there's an image, and flips between the menu for the projector and the pictre from the xbox, which is fuzzy and a triple image. Any ideas what could be wrong? Thanks.
So last week all of a sudden I turn my projector on in the morning and there's a couple inches thick black bar going across the length of my screen. It's about a 1/4 way down the screen. I changed the bulb to a new one I had laying around and it still was there. Does anyone know what could be the problem? Is this something major?

I currently have a Benq PE8700 projector in which I am more than happy with it's performance so far but are now looking to upgrade to HD, looking around their are so many new models on the market. The PE8700 was one of the best around for home theatre a couple of years ago and would like to upgrade to a high performance projector again. I would stick with a DLP (unless convinced otherwise)and my screen size is 96".
Can anyone please recommend a realy good projector for home theatre?

I have a two year old Benq PE 8700+ projector (1000Hhs) running HD Satellite and Rotel RVD 1060 DVD player through a DVDO HD+. I don't know if it because I now have hd running through my plasma, but my Projector just isn't in the same league a plasma. Are the newer Projectors (PT-AE2000U) that much better than my current one. Should I be upgrading or just not try to compare the two. If any one has any feedback, it would be greatly appreciated before I buy a new projector and be unhappy with the results!
I purchassed this projector three years ago,it looks like I need to replace the color wheel now.It seems to be very dificult to get any service out of manufacturer or even an estimate.Should I just drop the idea of fixing my projector and if so what is a comparable projector to the one I currentley have?
