HELP/SUPPORT PLEASE Hi I purchased the NEC VT460K, from a friend of mine, who told me that it did work, although, he had misplaced/lost the original remote control for the actual projector itself, I thought and told him that it should not really be a problem, so I asked him to bring it over to my house, and I would have a look, I gave it a usual look over, and then proceeded to try and use the projector with one of my games consoles, so I could be sure before paying any money out to him, I was really surprised to realise that it was actually very good indeed, it projected one of my favourite game onto the wall, and the image quality was really impressive, we agreed our price for the projector and as we were both happy with the price, I paid him for the projector. He left my house, and I carried on going through the main set up of connecting my projector to my original projector stand on the ceiling of my games room, I realised that some of the text on the screen was quite distorted and proceeded to correct the text issue, now also taking in mind, that the original remote has been lost/misplaced, it is very difficult indeed, trying to use the control panel of the projector upside down, and remember getting to part of the sub menu system, and could not fully understand what the actual prompt came up with, and proceeded to select YES, in doing this, the projector shut down fully, and I cannot get the projector to start up at all. I have downloaded a PDF copy of the manual from NEC, however it does not tell me much at all, I was looking to see if there was a remedy to my specific problem, but did not find anything in relation to it, what I did find out about was that I may have selected an option to LOCK the on board menu system???? Hence the problem I am now witnessing. I plug in the power cable and there comes an amber light on the projector, I then proceed, to press the power button, and nothing at all happens, I have also tried to press and hold the power, and the enter button, to see if this would work, but all I get is two amber lights showing on the projector, I am getting really frustrated with this in all. I have tried taking out the lamp itself, to allow it to cool down fully, I have also checked the fuse and the plug, to make sure there is not damage to cables or the plug itself. I have tried to press and hold many different buttons to just try and get the projector fired up. I would appreciate any kind of help/support that anyone may offer If you need any further information please ask/enquire I am lucky I can use my other projector, while I get this issue fixed. Thanks in advance Stephen W
