I agree with Kid Moe---to a point. Obviously things are going to get better, and I would hope that that will be very apparent in the second half of 2005. HOWEVER, I have one worry. I'm VERY interested in the JVC SX21 LCOS 4:3 native machine (and especially the new SU iteration which has added HDCP compatibility to it's DVI input). My fear is that in waiting too long, JVC and other manufacturers may put 4:3 to rest in favor of more 16:9 native aspect ratio machines, which seems to be the current trend nowadays already. I want 4:3 native so that I can have the largest picture in all formats. So why not just get the SX21SU right now? 10 grand, that's why! JVC seems to limit the number of resellers that carry it, and with it the competition that might bring some sweet pricing deals. You can't even get price requests from ANY dealers here on Projector Central! All this really bums me out. Any suggestions anyone?
