UPDATE:
I did get the updated software installed to my MX135 pre-amp.
I've been trying different sources, with interesting results;
Running the 3 comp video cables, I went directly from the satellite receiver to the projector, and the picture is great with no signal loss or waves.
From the Pioneer PVR direct to projector the signal drops and picture is wavy. This is the same result with the kids Wii game running thru the 135 to the projector.
Running the satellite receiver to the 135 THEN to the projector, the picture is great with no signal fade or waves.
What do you think?
My TDP-MT8 projector is suddenly losing picture. The signal seems to get weak (looks like it's under water), then on certain functions (guide on sat TV for instance) the signal disappears. Is there a problem with the unit itself? Does it need service?
There are less than 4 hours on the new bulb.
