Topic:   Proxima DP2000S Power Supply

I just got a Proxima DP2000S (InFocus LP240 is the same model) projector from a friend of mine for free because he couldn't get it to work any longer. After I got the thing home and taken apart, I found that the power supply was not functioning properly. This was my first guess, but after getting my hands on the thing and searching the web a little, it verified it for me. Once I put power to it the power supply only produced a very slight high pitched whine. No LED's lit up on the top or anywhere for that matter. Replacing caps and resistors is a little beyond me, my knowledge is only in low voltage. I was really looking to see if anyone else had come across the same issue or would know where to turn me for a new power supply. I'm new to this forum, but not forums in general. Please let's not play "Bash the Noob". Thanks
