Topic:   The Best 4:3 Home Theatre Projector

I have an used NEC LT240 which I would be happy to sell you for a good price. It needs a new lamp, which will run you about $400.

Topic:   Help Color Wheel shattered!

Hello, I'm hoping I can find a color wheel for my NEC LT240 projector. It broke apart while in operation hanging upside down. I've verified that it is broken, the lamp appears to be fine and I've search for a replacement color wheel assembly, but have had no luck. It no longer is in warranty, and I'm willing to do the repair myself. Any chance someone here can help? Thanks

Topic:   Screen flickers after 15 minutes... image less vivid

Help! I have had my DLP projector mounted for a few years now, with approx. 68% lamp life remaining on the original bulb. After approximately 15 minutes of viewing (any source), the screen flickers for a minute and then the image seems to become less vivid, almost as if the bulb is going to go out. Although I am supposed to have many hours of remaining life on the bulb, could it just be that this bulb is about to die? After the flickering and the image becoming poor, I have tried switching from Eco mode to full power mode. The image does get a little better, but it is certainly not what it used to be. If I take it in to get serviced, it will cost approx. $150 just to take a look. A new bulb is $200. Should I just take my chances with a new bulb? Thank you!

Topic:   NEC LT240 - colors and focus slight fade after 20 minutes...

I have had an NEC LT240 for a couple of years now, and have it mounted for home theater. Recently this started... after viewing a show/movie for approx. 20 minutes, the colors start to run a bit and the image loses a little of focus. This is in Eco mode. When I have it in full mode, it goes a little longer before losing image quality. The lamp has 68% remaining life, and shows 618 hours (hours used, I presume). Any ideas of what the problem might be? This is a DLP projector. Do I just need a new lamp, or could this be another problem? Any advice would be appreciated.
