Topic:   Infocus lp250 issues
Hey, I am new this forum and this is my first post. I am having sme trouble with my Infocus lp250 projector. As soon as turn it on it gives me a message that one of the fans is not working and it shuts off after 10 seconds. I took it apart and found out it is the small 12V fan that doesn't get the voltage, fan itself works. Now does anyone know what could cause that? I am leaning toward replacing the motherboard but i have no idea where to get one and how much it is. Please send any info on this, any input is much appriciated. Sorry for the length of the first thread. thanks again
Hello I just picked up the same projector yet to find out its problems but you may want to look in your setup there are sometimes and place for your fans when to turn on and off. i have also a sharp which has that feature. it may not recieve voltage becuase maybe that setting is not correct.

Topic:   Subtle colour band problem on LCD

Hi, I'm new to this forum, and I hope I'm not asking a dumb question here. I've googled this problem, and searched this forum for a similar problem but so far found nothing that is the same as what I am experiencing. I have a Infocus LP250 that is exibiting a translucent vertical magenta stripe near the center of the screen. This seems to be more obvious in darker areas of the picture. The white startup screen does not show it at all. If it does, it's not perceptible. This projector has been flawless up until now. It is still on it's original bulb @ 830 hours. This shows up from both my computer HD15 input, and my Sat receiver svideo input. I have the latest firmware, and the filters are kept clean. This is ceiling mounted in a basement, with a relative humidity of 50-55%. It never gets jostled about, as it only comes down off the mount for the filters to be cleaned. When it is ceiling mounted, the remote is used, so there is no contact with it at all. Now that we've noticed it there, it is visually distracting. Anyone have any ideas? Cheers, Brad
