Hi,
I've just been given an InFocus LP240 Projector and have managed to connect it to my playstation 2 but can't get any sound. The InFocus LP240 has a socket at the back that says 'volume in.' Can anyone tell me what sort of speaker connecter I need. Do I have to have an amp or will just a pair of speakers do? Thanks. |

can anybody help me ?...possibly AV-Integrated ? i am still looking for the service manual for the infocus lp240 projector, and/or any schematics and/or autopsy photographs to help me with this lamp thing if i can find a way to make the projector ignore the apparent lack of a bulb, and if i can slow down the fan it'd be perfect because i know i can make the led lamp. no problem if anyone can help that'd be great :) matt

darn right it would be, that's why i want to make an led bulb http://www.bigscreenforums.com/forum_topic.cfm?which=1263 for my projector, as i already use it as my sole viewing device, the lamp is already at 1280 hours of 2000, and it represents a whopping 50 % of my quite low electricity usage...i had been quietly researching this thinking myself very clever until... http://www.bigscreenforums.com/forum_topic.cfm?which=1214

it's me again !
so i want to rip out the hotdog lamp and stick in an led array, but the projector possibly won't let me - if it senses that there is no lamp and it shuts itself down
i was thinking - can anyone hack the firmware on a projector, would that be an expensive/impossible big deal to do ?...i suspect that this is no easy thing, but perhaps there is a disgruntled infocus firmware writer reading this who can help ?...telling the projector to ignore the lack of a lamp would be perfect, and if it could be told to quarter the fan speed that'd be cool too
anyway, if such a person got together with someone who could knock up a dozen led lamps a day they could get quite rich over the next few years (were talking about 600 dollars a day each )
happy new year :) matt
*can anyone help me get my hands on a copy of the lp240 service manual please ? |
