Hello all, just to give you some background information on what we are dealing with, I recently bought a philips bsure xg1 projector from a flea market out in medina, MN. It was in perfect working condition up until three weeks ago. That is when I had a very frustrating incident. I was working on various things when I accidentally unplugged my projector while it was on. After waiting a few minutes, I attempted to turn it back on, but to no avail, not only did the projector fail to respond at all, the projector's power LED wouldn't light up either. confused by this, I waited 24 hours to see if it was simply a capacitor overload. but that wasn't the case either. My next guess was that the internal fuse may have blown. So I opened it up and checked the fuse on the Power Supply Unit. I couldn't see inside it, so I simply used my stereo to see if the fuse would complete the circuit to a speaker, and it did. So now I am left confused as to what damages unplugging the projector could have been done. I am desperate to know what I can do to repair this problem. Please give an input you can.
Thanks everyone :) |
