Topic:   Optoma H56 firmware

I have a Optoma H56 projector which has served me well, but now that I have upgraded to the HD world I am having problems for the projector to accept 720P. Basically the image doesn't line up correctly (sync is wrong) and the picture is blue. I believe there is a firmware fix for this but am unable to find it anywhere on the web. Optoma doesn't respond to my emails so I was hoping someone out there might have a solution for me. Thanks in advance

Topic:   Black Screen on Optoma H56

I have an Optoma H56 projector that is fully HDTV compatible (native XGA). I have a Samsung H260F HDTV receiver (cable/over the air) that I connect to the projector with a HDMI-to-DVI cable and it works wonderfully at all resolutions. This week I signed up for a Comcast HDTV account and they delivered a Motorola DCH3200 high definition box with HDMI output. I connected this to my projector with the same HDMI-to-DVI output (and RCA cables to stereo for audio). I get sound through the stereo just fine but only a black screen from the projector for video. Some type of signal is coming through because the projector indicates that it is receiving a signal on the DVI -- but the image is entirely black/blank. It makes no difference which resolution output I select on the receiver. Ideas/help much appreciated!

Topic:   Only Half Screen in 720p

Why would an XGA HDTV-compatible projector (Optoma H56) show only half of a screen when using a 720p input? I am using a Samsung H260F HDTV cable/over-the-air receiver, plugged into the projector via an HDMI-to-DVI cable. The receiver has a switch in the back that can vary output to analog, 480p, 7290p and 108i. In any position other than 720p, the projector accurately centers the image on the screen and scales to size. But when set to 720p, the image is cut in half and moved to the far left of the screen. Any ideas? Many thanks.
