Topic:   Sanyo PLC-SW15 Problem

I started my projector up for the first time in about 6 months, and video coming through the S-Video input is in black and white only. The menu still shows up in color, as does the blue screen when no video is present. Material sent through the computer input shows up in color as well. I have switched out S-Video cables, and the results are the same.Any ideas? Thanks

Topic:   Is this bulb burned out?????

My 3 yr old sanyo plc-sw15 projector has started to act up. When I turn it on, it goes to the blue "warmup" screen as normal, runs for the 30 seconds, just before it turns on, a small bulb icon flashes in the corner, it then shuts down and the fans go into high mode for a minute or so. The bulb looks pristine, can it be bad and look normal??? Not sure if its the original one or not.I read another post here and he said the manufactor told him to take the cover off and reset a button near the bulb that resets the thermostat. Thanks, Grego.

Topic:   Green for Green!

Hi All, Never really thought about Projectors, until I found one in the Skip at work, its a Sanyo. The reason it was in the skip must be because it shows a Green Ribbon right down the centre of the "Viewable Screen" Really Bad on DVD, Bad on PS2 albeit it is not so bad when the computer is running through it. Question is "can this be repaired as I quite fancy the idea of a large screen" or "Does it go back in the Skip!!" Thanks for any Help you can offer Squizz

Topic:   help with a color distortion problem

I've had this projector for five years. It has developed a big circle of blue distortion in the middle of the picture. Flesh tones in the area appear bluish, sports fields look worn in that spot. Is this a sign of a projector wearing out and needing replaced, or something simpler I should look into fixing?
