Dear All
Let me telll you my terrible experience.
My Sanyo PLC SU30 projector (used for 3 years) started to turn green 2 to 3 months ago. It gets worse. I took it to the Sanyo service center in Hong Kong. The guy told me that the LCD panel is gone and the replacement costs US$1,000!!!!
Z3 is selling around US$1,700 in Hong Kong. |

The colors all of a sudden went out of synch. You can see that the rgb is all messed up, and looks as though it needs to be adjusted. Is this something that just anyone can do or is it best to be sent in for repair. Is there a manual or something that I can find online to help me re-synch the colors, or possibly a menu setting? We use them for our shows and they are pretty important, but unfortunately we don't have lots of money for repairs and would like to do this on our if at all possible. Any suggestions or helpful hints are greatly appreciated!!! TIA~!!!!! ProtoHippy

My projector has the same problem for the last 2 months or more. I took it back to the service center and was told that the LCD panel needs replacement. the costs is equal to 60% of a brand new projector of the same rank!!! |
