My Yamaha DPX-1 manual states that a DVI connection is for a PC. Can I connect a DVD player to the DVI? I thought that the DVI was the best signal to use since it does not have HDMI. Up until now I have just been using the component input with BNCs. I am thinking of getting an HD DVD player so I would like to get the best results possible. Any help would be appreciated.
I have a friend who has a Yamaha DPX-1, he is experiencing a negative picture on the screen. At first it started with BLue and red bars appearing across the screen. I have ruled out everything from bad connections, even bad wires and concluded that it is coming from the projector not other sources. Any help with matter would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
