Topic:   Help proxima DP6150/ ask C100

Now I have the same problem on my projector. Did you find some solution? Looks like some kind of electronic problem, cause the color shift increasing after 10-15min of running. Please anybody help, the service on this projector is discontinued, and I just replaced a lamp 150 hours ago. So any information can be helpful: Code to the service menu, schematics e.t.c. (same as Proxima DP6150) Thanks

Topic:   Ask C-100 with ghosting - Solution?

Hi ! I've got in my hands (for free) a same projector model with exactly the same problem. My problem was solved by switching off the main switch after using. However, after 3-4 hours of watching, some white lines appear in the image. I'm not sure which is causing this. If you find a solution for this, could you please reply to this forum. I would be really happy. Regards, Kari

Topic:   Ask C-100 with ghosting - Solution?

Hello, I got a Ask C-100 projector where the image and some colors has "shifted" a bit to the left so its almost like a shadow. Heres how it looks: http://www.hembioforum.com/member_upload/pa310078.jpg The lamp has gone 1200 of 2000 hours...and the proj. is from year 2001. I contacted a service company about this and they told me that its called "ghosting" and it occurrs when the proj. is always in stand-by mode and you dont turn the power off. I had no idea that this kind of problem could occurr. He said the LCD panels needs to be calibrated thru the mainboard and it would cost me about 500-600$ !!!! (converted from swedish crowns to $) I paid twice that for the whole projektor!!! So this is obviously not an option, I rather buy a new proj. instead. So what should YOU do if you were me? Ive opened the proj. and turned a few switches but no change...so I guess the calibration is done by connecting some kind of computer to the proj. and then calibrating it with some kind of program? Is that something I could do? Another option is to sell it but how much money would I get for a "damaged" proj. anyway? Last option...throw it away :) Thanks for any help...
