Hi,
I am new to the forum and there is a wealth of info here. I purchased a used Sharp xg-p10xu to use for a church projector. I am looking for a spare bulb to be prepared when the current one blows. I found this one on ebay, will it work?
http://cgi.ebay.com/PHILIPS-UHP-200W-WATT-1-0-PROJECTOR-BULB-BRAND-NEW_W0QQitemZ220341784251QQihZ012QQcategoryZ15251QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
It says it will fit the "caddie" of the xg, and it is a round 200W, UHP
It is significantly cheaper than the other bulbs listed on ebay for the xg, but looks like the same thing.
Any experiences would be appreciated.
Thanks

Hello,
I was wondering if anyone had any idea of the best place to sell a Sharp XG-P10XU projector, and what I might hope to sell it for. It works fine, and I figured it would probably be best as an education/business projector.
Thanks |

...they decided not to communicate.
When I connect a G4 (requiring a Mac/VGA adapter)I get an amber over scanned image temporarily and then nothing. I'm using an SP Controls panel (which is basically just button-mapping). My pcs have no problem. I checked the g4's refresh (60HZ) and resolution (1024) against Sharp's faq and everything seems ok.
Has anybody run into this before? I believe this is a recent issue and the instructor used his G4 with this Sharp before, but I can't be 100% sure. I tried a new adapter just in case and had the same problem.
Thanks,

I need help unlocking the keypad password on my XG-P10XU, it works fine with a remote but It has a password. I know how to reset hours on XG-E3000Us & XG-E3500s, tried this but it didn't work. Thought ressetting the hours would also reset password. Any help would be great. Post any replies here or

I managed to misplace the 5 screws that seat the lamp housing to the projector. Can I use any appropriate sized screw or does it need to be a certain type? If it does need to be a certain type, does anybody have any suggestions regarding a vendor?
Thanks. |
