First things first, I am, admittedly, very new to the world of projectors, so you're gonna have to talk pretty dumb to me in your answers...
That being said, I've got a Sharp XG-P10XU in my church that's projecting a green-ish hue when the projected image is supposed to be 'blacked-out'...
I've tried adjusting the settings in the menu with no luck, and we just recently replaced the lamp that had over 900 hours on it... I thought replacing the lamp would fix the problem, but to my surprise, it didn't...
If I had to guess, I'd say we've had the projector for close to 10 years... Is it just time for a new one, or is there something I can do to fix this problem?
Thank you for any help anyone can provide...

I bought a lot of projectors and some bulbs. I have a xg-p20xu projector that needs a bulb. I have a xg-p10 bulb. I wanted to know if I could use the p10 bulb in the p-20.

I am new to the forum and there is a wealth of info here. I purchased a used Sharp xg-p10xu to use for a church projector. I am looking for a spare bulb to be prepared when the current one blows. I found this one on ebay, will it work?
It says it will fit the "caddie" of the xg, and it is a round 200W, UHP
It is significantly cheaper than the other bulbs listed on ebay for the xg, but looks like the same thing.
Any experiences would be appreciated.

I was wondering if anyone had any idea of the best place to sell a Sharp XG-P10XU projector, and what I might hope to sell it for. It works fine, and I figured it would probably be best as an education/business projector.

...they decided not to communicate.
When I connect a G4 (requiring a Mac/VGA adapter)I get an amber over scanned image temporarily and then nothing. I'm using an SP Controls panel (which is basically just button-mapping). My pcs have no problem. I checked the g4's refresh (60HZ) and resolution (1024) against Sharp's faq and everything seems ok.
Has anybody run into this before? I believe this is a recent issue and the instructor used his G4 with this Sharp before, but I can't be 100% sure. I tried a new adapter just in case and had the same problem.
